changing a 1972 85 hp johnson to electronic egnition

Are you sure you have points???<br /><br />I have a 72 model 100hp.. and it has no points.. older models like the 71 did, but the 72 is breakerless..<br /><br />I'd check that out before you worry about it..<br /><br />regards<br /><br />Frank
