Re: Changing gas tank for Sport craft 20'

I have a 20' with Johnson 150hp, I removed the leaky tank and put a bigger one in, its too big to remove without cutting the deck now.
I had the deck off and didn't notice until the deck was glued back in place that the new tank is bigger than the tank hatch. doh!

But just do it right and forgetaboutit.
Re-plumb the fill and breather hoses while you're in there.
Take measurements and watch craigslist, I got a new alum tank for $100.

Install it like this and it will not leak.
Don't pack it in with foam.
