Looking for the truth here. A guy told me that if I change the orifices (#25) and plugs (#54D) on my E60TLCCR to #33 and #65D from a 70hp respectively that I'd end up with a 70 hp motor. I say I'd end up with a flooded motor. Any truth to any of this? Thanks

I believe the 70's have a larger diameter bore than the carbs from a 60hp, so like you said, you would most likely just wind up with a poor running motor. Now if you could find some carbs from a 70, it may be possible to achieve some improved performance. Also make sure the timing specs are the same between the two motors..

I agree, just changing the jets will most likely cause other problems.
