Changing of the seats

So, I have an '07 bayliner 185 with the Standard seating package (2 sets of back-to-back seats). I'd like to know how much work it would involve to change the driver's side seats to a single, pedestal seat. Anybody ever do this?

The seats are on a box base that is usually full of foam. The box base needs to be removed (cut out) and then a pedistal seat can be installed. The rear seat will also be lost.

You could remove the lounge seat from the box base and bolt on a seat with rotating base directly to the box.
