got the boat this summer and never changed oil yet so this is the first time.

I wanted to change the oil in the lower unit and when i took it out it was like a cream color(i think thats bad).Is there moisture or water in there?

well could it be normal after usage..

I looked at the new oil and it looks totaly different...

any help would be good...i haven't filled it up yet waiting on some other parts...

Yup thats water. With out a pressure test it would be impossible to tell where it comes from. You didn't say what kind or year.
Mine leak around the drain plug.No mater what I do it still leaks there.Jerry

so that's water great...well when I pulled the water pump I saw the the water pump housing right around the drive gear was pitted up and small chaunks missing but I'm gonna look at it better.also will try a pressure test.I never saw any oil leaking out from the drain and fill holes so it's gotta be from the top?

I would refill and change the gaskets around the fill, vent, and drain plugs first, usually they go bad allowing water in the lower unit. Take her out for a test run, and then if you still ahve water present, you probably need to do a reseal. If you search for resealing lower units thread by me and answered by Frank A, the thread walks you through the process. The kit is about 40 bucks and i did mine in about two hours. It is relatively easy to do, but just be careful you dont break any bolts. Also if your water pump housing is pitted its probably time for a new one. Good luck and let us know what you find.

That is the bellow/boot seal. The shift rod seal. You must have the two piece shift rod. Mine went bad and I could not find a timely replacement. I thought about it and came up with a home made design to replace it. I then found out you can change the two peice shift rod with a one piece shift rod, then replace the seal with a washer type seal. Also, I found a site that has the part, bellow seal, www.dolleroffshore.com (866)-473-4341 I have not called or tried to contact them because I havent been able to test my home made fix yet. Being a paraplegic, it is not easy to launch the boat by myself. Friends are busy with there lives.
