changing starter ???

I have a 1984 150 hp mercury black max that i need to take starter off.It looks pretty simple.Taking off cables and one brackett.Is there more to it than that? anything special i should look out for?

I think you'll also be at least loosening the bottom bracket as well,if not removing it as well..Also are there 2 srcews securing the oil tank to the upper bracket ? Can't really tell in the parts book.

Also note where the starter terminal is located.Point it in the same direction when reinstalling.And watch for spacers that control how high it sits in the brackets.Not always used,but if they are there,reinstal in the same position.
