Hello,
I recently purchased a boat used. The steering cable is frayed on it, but came with replacement cable.
The steering system wraps around the back of the steering wheel, then has a pulley at each front end, then runs along side each side of the boat, reaching another pulley, then attached to pulleys on the motor (with springs attached).
I was wondering what is the best way to change this cable? It doesn't seem too difficult a job, but I am new to boating and am inexperienced in regards to boat maintenance.
Thanks!
