changing the starter??

hey guys...i have a 99 chris craft 210 BR with a carburated 5.7....my starter is out on it...do any of you guys know if i have to pull the motor to change it?? I dont really see a good way of doing it...thought maybe somebody would have some helpful advice...thanks in advance....

It depends on the clearance under the starter. Some motors need to be lifted a few inches to get the bolts out.
If you can get a wrench on them its only 2 bolts under the front of the starter and another bolt on the bracket.
Everything depends on the engine bay and can you get to it...

Usually just the 2 bolts and bracket . Maybe remove the exaust manifold for some room?
And Yes, some motors do get removed to change a starter./sometimes the stringer is not undercut for clearance.
