Every spring engine overheats on launch. Wizzer pumping fine right from start, but takes a few brief starts and stops after letting engine cool down for water to flow out upper exhausts, then engine runs fine for rest of year. Regularly flush engine with fresh, especially before laying up. Guessing t-stats are sticking after sitting for winter. Took longer than usual to resolve this year, so assume need replacement. Can't find them on the powerhead -- where are they and how to change? Thanks!

Have fun getting to them. The bubble back gets in the way. You'll have to (at the very least) undo the lower cowling so that it drops down a bit to allow access. A u-jointed 1/4-inch drive socket wrench with a 8 to 12-inch extension helps things, too...

Many thanks! Going to try to change this weekend, assuming parts come in.
