model no. 225.581503 serial no. 12841<br />what year is this gamefisher outboard motor ?<br />can you give me the instructions how to change the waterpump and where can i buy another one, i have never worked on a outboard motor, but i am going to start, thanks<br />it is 15 horse power outboard motor

To remove the gearcase.<br /><br />Remove the 4 7/16 bolts. Slowly drop down the gearcase. <---make sure you do not yank it down, you will pull the shifter out of the gearcase and make a ton of work for yourself.<br /><br />Once you have dropped it down you will see a linkage with allen head bolts in it. Remove the lowest one. Once it is out..pull the gearcase off. The waterpump housing will be in plane site on the driveshaft.<br /><br />You can purchase a new impeller here on Iboats. But if you need to replace the entire waterpump, you will have to be supplied by a Mercury/Force dealership.<br /><br />TMD
