I am replacing a charge coil on a 1975 Johnson 15 hp. The replacement coil (oem) has the blue and white wire coming out of the opposite than the one I am replacing. Does it matter if the wires are reversed or not? I want to mount the coil with the wires coming out on the bottom of the coil like the original was, however, this will put the blue and white wire on the opposite set of points. Any suggestions?
