This is on the 88 Johnson 150 v6 ran the test according to the manual sensor coil resistance test should be 17+/-5 ohms mine are all pretty consitant at 14.2 ohms
Charge coil resistance should be 500+/-50ohms I'm at 550ohms
That's pretty much where it ends in the book. Where to next?

Sorry, but your post makes no sense to me. Maybe somebody else will chime in.

You have a serious misunderstanding of the system.
Charge coils are for ignition, believe it or not.

The coil you want to measure is basically the alternator coil of the stator. The two wires are yellow. Measure the resistance, and the voltage produced at idle. I would look for roughly 25-30 VAC at idle speed on the two yellows.

If that is good, you probably have a reg/rectifier that is bad.

If you have ever hooked your battery leads up the wring way you will most likely of fried the reg/rectifier

R/r was replaced. I went on a spree replacing all of the r\r on my engines.

So measure the voltage output of the stator on the two yellows. Probably goes straight to the terminal strip, and very easy to do.
It is AC voltage, so set meter accordingly.

Did you check the voltage at the battery posts both stationary & running?

If you don't get a rise then test the stator, you don't have to remove it to test it.

After that all that's left is the rectifier/regulator.

Re: Charging diagnostics good yet no charge at battery?

After going through everything again I found a bad connection on the plug the wire looked like it went through the plug just fine however when I did a continuity test it revealed the wire was not seated into the pin with in the plug. Very misleading to look at. But once I managed to separate the pin header from the plug and re crimped and soldered it it seems to be fine. Haven't been out yet but just a test in the hard showed good signs just fast idling it brought about 13.1 to the battery much better then the 12.56 prior.

There is no plug in the stator/rectifier/battery circuit.
