I have a 24 volt trolling motor and the two batteries have a jumper from positive to negative. Does this jumper need to be disconnected to charge each battery?

I know about 2 and 3 bank chargers but I just have a simple 12 volt charger that I use.

Re: Charging Trolling motor batteries

You can charge the batteries one at a time, while leaving the 24V series jumper in place.

(BTW, a multi-bank charger is one of the best things you can add to your boat, makes charging the batteries quick and easy.)
