If you keep your rig in a paid high and dry, do you have to remove your trolling battery to recharge it everytime it needs a boost? Charging it from the outboard's charging system would take too long wouldn't it? Do any high and drys let you use an onboard charger? If not, any suggestions? <br />Stalker

Probably no place to plug in an on-board charger at the high & dry. Unless you have a big motor with a high output alternator and make very long runs, chances are the motor would not keep the troller topped off (provided of course you used the troller extensively). The big motor would obviously extend the days fishing, but you would be best off by removing the battery and charging it with a smart charger.
