Hi
I,m pretty sure my motor is not charging from the stator. I will confirm that in the near future.
I acquired another motor that someone was dumping, but they are different years.
Question is - Can I use different style rectifiers ?

My motor is a Force 1251X7B the other is 1253X9B

Thanks

Re: Charging trouble

Thats good news .
One more question---what would be the difference in the rest of the electrical system--- being a similar system that is ?

Re: Charging trouble

the modules, coils, stator, trigger and starter are interchangable, not to much difference between an 87 & 89 as long as they have the amount of cylinders if they dont the trigger is not interchangable good luck don

Re: Charging trouble

You might be interested in switching over to a regulator instead of the rectifier. Your battery and electronics will last longer and perform better. Take a look at the sticky at the top of the Force forum.
