Checking weather on my marine laptop on the boat. It is currently 61 deg F in Durham North Carolina and 84 deg F in Bismark North Dakota. Time to calibrate or head North for the winter!

Well, when the Mayan calendar comes to an end, the North and South Poles are supposed to swap places. Maybe they're getting an early start.

Yeah, the Dakotas have been warm all week. Some of it spilled over to us. We've been in the 70's the last couple of days. Made for a nice day on the lake, but lousy fishing. Sunny, warm, flat water on a clear lake don't mix very well... O'well, great to be back on the water. Late next week they're talking hi's in the 40's in Duluth. Bleh!
