Hello,

I currently use Navionics on my cell phone. I would like to get a chart plotter and download Navionics to that. There is so much to choose from I'm over whelmed. I'm looking for somethin under $500.00. I don't need the fish finder part of it .
Any advice would be great.

Thanks

Different charts plotters mfg. use different maps sets. Garmin uses their proprietary Blue charts but they own Navionics

Is there a reason you want Navionics maps? Downloading from one device to another isnt an option

Don’t know of a stand-alone chartplotters in your price range. Most at that price point are combo units, fish finder and chart plotter

Well I am in the same boat, but a little further down the line. I started out with a Lawrance Hook2 Gor charts from C-Map Keep in mind I needed charts for The Philippines. They were not the best so I found a Raymarine e120W touch. Now I can't get any responce from Raymarine on what CF card I can use. I would stay away from Them. Personally for the US I would go with Larwance Hook2 in a 7,9 inch. The maps from C-map work good. Go to the C-Map web sire and look for chart compatibility then just keep looking for a unit that will work with their charts.
