I bought a $50. boat cover from wall mart last year for my 16.5 foot bow rider. I don't tow with it. Its starting to leak. Looking for a good cover for around $100. that may last more than a year. There are so many to chose from. Looking for recommendations.

Re: Cheap Boat Cover

Hmm that's a bummer. I got like 4 seasons out of one of those $50 Wal-Mart covers and it kept the boat nice and dry. It was starting to get kinda nasty and I replaced it with a mid-range Westland cover from iboats and honestly I don't think it was near as waterproof. If you can hold out, iboats has a ridiculous sale once a year on covers. Find one for a boat similar to yours abd grab it. They have like $400 covers for like $40.

i have had good experience with this cover. i dont tow with it, but i have in the past. its nice and thick and the fabric is waterproof but if the water collects at a seem itll have a slight leak right there. not much more you can ask for for the price.

Good post 2rz-fte! I had forgotten about those and I even have them bookmarked from the last time another forum member recommended them. Definitely something to look into rainman.
