The following video from u tube pretty much tells how to take care of your trailer wheel bearings and if you find a problem as they do, how to replace them and properly lube everything and get back on the road.

You will notice the guy does use a block of wood or a bearing driver to seat the bearings and seals properly. This may save your new bearings and seals from damage while doing the installation. Good luck....
ps there are many other videos on bearings and lubrication but after looking at several, this one seems to show the proper way to do the job without damaging the (in this case) new bearings and seals. I hope this will help some of you if you've never done this job before.
