If it has a hex head below the nipple, it screws right out. PN 392988...'bout $12. Are we talking about the ones mounted on the intake manifold?

Ok...I know which ones your talking about and I can't find a part number for them...I usually find a one laying around the shop..I've broke a couple to. The fitting is just a nipple and it's a press fit. I don't think there is a part number for them unless one of the other guys know what it might be. I'll take a look when I get to the shop and see if I might have one laying around.

The part number is 327706 and its just a straight thru nipple. No screen or valve.

A secret personal file that no one can look at.

Or you can find them on a commercial looper. I looked at a 93 125 I believe it was. Its funny how some parts show up in the commercial parts books and not in the recreational books.

Re: check vales into each cyl

okam,
are these the check valves your referring to? there's a 90 degree fitting pressed into the back side on each of these check valves that connect the recirc. lines. 3 of my check valves don't work, as i checked them with a syringe and alcohol. My 90 fittings are o.k. though. How did you get yours out? I used a small 1/16" punch through the brass insert to puch the 90 degree fitting out. Then i was able to punch the brass fitting out by placing the puch where the fitting i just removed was. it worked on the first one, so i thought i'd stop here and ask your (or anyone's)opinion on the process.

Re: check vales into each cyl

Hey, the check valves are in the intake manifold and will be screw ins. the nipples in the clys are just pressed in and just have a jet inside the fitting. I remomoved the cyl. fittings by tapping the fitting with a screw driver at differant angles then pulled them out with vise grips, very easy. I had 2 other nipples on the cyls that were clogged, it took carb cleaner and air commpressor to free those up, be patient it takes time. Good luck

Re: check vales into each cyl

thanks for the help. I had to replace one of my check valves on my manifold too. just couldn't seem to unclog that tiny screen. I tried alcohol and compressed air, but to no avail. thanks again for the tip on removing those brass inserts. Did you coat the new ones with anything when you re-inserted them?
