V6 150hp oil injection

Is the check valve on the oil injection supply line and where fuel mixes from injection pump the same? Looks like same part and part # but diff nipples. Are they both 2psi? When blowing on them, the oil tank input check valve feels like a good 2 psi and solid seal but my fuel side does not completely seal closed when I blow back up it and when sticking small rod into it the spring feels very light.

So should the fuel side check valve do its seal just as well and have a very solid seal as the oil feed side or or should it be fairly weak without a positive seal when being back flowed

Both should feel about the same as the one at fuel pump keeps fuel from feeding into oil system when pumping bulb...

Re: Check valve question

Thank you sir! Wow the oil pump actually pumps enough to over come the 2 psi?
So the line above the check valve is essentially always holding the oil from just falling into the fuel line and as stated Keeps fuel from going up to the tank.
The internal spring is so soft(fuel side tee) compared to the oil side check valve when poking it and blowing through it. The fuel one is $45 and oil one $25. Just different nipples? Bcuz the fuel one 42425 1is obsolete

It actually the pressurization of the oil system from crankcase pressure that makes it work as the oil pump is actually a metering pump..

Re: Check valve question

Makes sense. But the fuel tee is $45 and the oil tee is $15 must cost alot to put a softer sping in the fuel tee... I doubt I can use the oil one for the fuel side. If the fuel side had the 2psi check valve from the oil side then it would build pressure, open, and let oil into fuel, then close again until pressure built up again. I doubt it would bleed in constistantly with how it pops open fairly hard. Those hose alone is soft and will make the pressure fluctuate at until 2psi builds the blow off the pressure. I'm thinking the fuel side is closer to 1/2 psi check valve.
