How long of a job is taking the gearcase off of my '72 merc 115 inline 6 and checking the impeller and regreasing, etc.? Just wondering, my mercury manual hasn't arrived yet. Are the impellers readily available for this year motor?

Also, I just bought some Seafoam after reading several posts about how it can get all that old carbon off the pistons and free up the rings. I just brought my motor back to life and have run it just once on the muffs. Seems to run strong and idle good.

I also have been busy on the trailer, sanding, priming, painting, and re-wiring w/new light kit.
By the way, since my whole rig is a '72, I thought it would be a good idea to change the wheel bearings on my trailer. Man what a job! It took my brother and I about 3 hours to do just one side(though I had to get the bearings out first before buying new ones). Still have the other side to do
