Checking out an '87 Ski Centurion open bow today. What should I be looking for?

I've decided to move up from my '74 3.0 Glassply to a bigger boat so that my son can learn to wakeboard. There's an '87 Ski Centurion locally for $5500. Motor rebuild has 400 hours on it and when the motor was rebuilt, the floor was removed, stringers replaced, and upholstery re-done. I'm wondering what I should be looking for to see if it's worthwhile. Any kind of static test I can do on a V-drive to make sure it's in good shape? Anyone know if there were particular problems that these boats had? How can I verify the quality of the hull rebuild?

Thanks

You'll be looking for the same things that you would on any other runabout for the most part. Make sure there aren't any soft spots on the floor/transom and check the normal engine stuff. Ski Centurions are well built boats. Check the transmission fluid.
