I have an adjustable spark tester where you plug the spark plug wire on, and attach to ground.
I've got a remote start switch. the engine has an emergency ignition cutoff snap-out on the console. Of course ignition has to be on to test spark.
do I remove all the spark plugs before cranking to test each plug wire one by one at cranking speed?
Or should I leave the plugs in and the wires attached and test the spark with the engine running on 3 cylinders?
What's the best way?
Thanks!

Remove plugs to test spark. Ground plug wires that you are not testing. Do not try and check spark with engine running.

You can test spark with the engine running IF you have an inline spark tester that conects between the plug and the wire from the pack...

I have a nice one that lights up in pulses...and you can do this by yourself as well..

other than that..you really want to do each seperatly and not while running on 3.....remove all of them...
