The motor is a 1998 Force 90 with CD ignition. Back in my younger days, I used to set timing on cars all the time, after adjusting the "points." How would I check the timing on this motor? I do have an automobile timing light. Where would I hook it up? I have been told to do it in the water at full throttle. I do see the timing numbers on the flywheel and I might have found the timing mark right above the carbs. Please advise. Or should I take it to the dealer? He would do it for about $50.

Never mind, friends, I have found the needed information. When I first looked in my Sleloc and Clymer manuals, I could find nothing under "timing." :( But I have just discovered that the needed instructions are listed under "synchronization." Now I should have no problem, God willing, checking the timing of my new adult toy. :D
