Last night I caught a portion of a tv special about Chers performing career. Brought back some pretty warm memories of older tunes Cher sung. I always did like her voice as well as looks.

The show I was watching focused on Chers showmanship. The complex costumes as well as stage props are amazing. Point was that Cher was one of the ultimate entertainers who really did care about giving it all to the audience. She did not merely plop her butt on a stool, dressed in jeans and a raggedy shirt and sing some vocals as many performers do now.

What a Woman!!!

Re: Cher

Allways thought she was a hottie. I'm attracted to long, lanky Italian women, nose and all, for some reason. First wife resembleed Cher.

And I agree, she gives her all to her art. I don't care for her voice, venue,or politics, but I do respect her talent and drive. And she is a very nice person.
Another fem singer like that is Gloria Estephan (hope I didn't butcher the spelling).
And she is my my home town (Miami).
