Can any one advise me the specs of a 'Sealed Power' SBC cam part # CC274 or oem 357149, 14060651, 14088839.
I have 1 in some surplus bits here that I want to use in a 305 Volvo AQ200/225 engine I'm building for my boat.
I dont want any thing wild but can't find any data on Sealed Power now as it's extinct.
Thanks

Peter

check with your local auto parts store. They should have an old catalog with some data.

Re: Chev 305 Camshaft query

I have a question, is a 305 chevy the same as a 307? Is the number just rounded off, or is this a ligitimate distinction?

B G,
Negative on that, Sealed Power has not been seen in NZ for years and the last distributors junked all the catalogs because they didn't know what it was. DUMB.

Mahoney,

307 is older than 305 and different bore /stroke
307: 3.875 x 3.25.
305: 3.740 x 3.48.

Pete

Thank you for that,
I checked the cam earlier today and found the # on the packet was wrong.
It was marked CC and should have been CS.
It has probably thrown all my search's off.

Regards

Peter
