chevy tall valve cover fit question

I am going to be running a 350 chevy in my bayiner trophy and wanted to use the chevy orange tall proform valve covers...http://www.summitracing.com/parts/PRO-141-924/. My question is will the tall valve covers clear the omc water jacket manifolds. Is anyone running a setup like this? Thanks

Probably not. How much clearance do you have on your original? now figure out where the taller ones will be.

I can't speak to the OMC manifolds, but I put chrome valve covers on my Mercruiser SBC (worth at least 20HP...), and didn't think I was gonna get 'em on there. Mine were short, too. The factory Merc valve covers were tapered towards the top to clear the exhaust system, and if the new ones were ANY bigger, they wouldn't have gone on.
