Of course there are resturaunts and bars along the riverwalk many with outdoor seating on the riverwalk, place to tie up are going to be limited and you'll probably have to walk some. Marina city used to have gas and docks but I dont think they do anymore.

Looks like a good time, and a new section of riverwalk just opened up, the riverwalk must be a few miles long now.

There was a place on the north branch called lifes too short, had plenty of docking and served food, not sure if they are still open though. Most on water bars in the chicago area are located on the calumet river.
