I picked up my boat last wendsday from having a oil leak fixed. I took the boat out thursday and ran for about 15 minutes when I started hearing a clacking noise. To make a long story short I took back to dealer and they are telling me that I have chipped gears in lower unit, my question is how they would not have known this when they supposedly test ran my motor after they changed a bad seal on water pump? The boat was not making this noise before I took in the first time.
