How is the boating on Choctawhatchee Bay in April? We Plan to take our 18 foot Four Winns down for a week in early Apr. Just wondering how rough the water is this time of year.

I don't know that area but I can tell you March/April are our windiest months in Fla, it's a crap shoot.

I've been there once a long time ago in a pontoon, its nice if you stay in the bay, but if you go out the inlet, once just under the bridge there was a bunch of sandbar off to the East, I know a lot of boats went back there cause I saw marinas, but it looked real shallow to me....best advice is ask around as soon as you get there...

I usually ask around at bait shops and you can usually get a cheapie laminated map of the area there for a few bucks, also a keep sake of the vacation...lol
