Choke problem OMC Cobra GM 5.0L

Have an '88 OMC GM 5.0L with a Quadrajet 4bbl carb(# 17059286). It has the older style coil spring choke thermostat. The coil spring lost it's tension and is no longer working, thus the choke is staying mostly closed. wouldn't mind switching to electric but which one?? The choke for a marine engine is different from normal automotive choke right??

You should be able to get the new choke assembly at Napa..
Just get the numbers off the carb.
