need choke solenoid it is no longer avalible from merc does anyone no where i can get one or get the one i have rebuilt 85 hp force

Bummer. For force owners it is only going to get worse. Keep an eye out on ebay. The marine doctor might have one or you can try www.chryslercrew.com

I wonder if there could be a 'universal solenoid' you could rig in there somehow. Could be a worse problem I suppose. At worse you could always have someone back there to manually choke it or you could hook up a manual choke cable perhaps.?.?.?.?

you can find them brand new from arco marine at this website...i bought one it was around $20-$30
