My motor bogs down in neutral and drive after being on for some time and then turned off. Seems to be a stuck choke. Anyone know how to fix such a thing?

Motor is Johnson 100, 1972
The choke plate will be visably closing-off the throat of the carb. You should be able to see it, looking at the front of the carb. A brass circle plate, will be covering the opening.

Check the compression. It may be low on one or more cylinders.
