I have an older mercy outboard 125hp 6 cyl. When trying to start cold I put choke on and all 3 carbs are covered by choke plastic. It won't start after long cranking, so I put my hand over middle carb and it starts right away, ant ideas would be greatly appreciated so don't have to take cowling off to start it TIA Barry

An OMC primer injector will solve hard to start problems.---Should be lots of good used ones out there.
