Chris craft boats??

I was told by a friend of mine that there are certain year Chris Craft boats to stay away from. Are there any? I was looking for a 18-21 foot mid 90's Chris Craft. Thanks for any input.

While I am not a boat expert, I can tell you that our 1993 Chris Craft 197 Concept has been a great boat for 11 seasons. It has the 5 litre H.O., OMC Cobra and I couldn't ask for anything more.<br />Right now, I can't think of anything we have done to it other than regular maintenance.<br /><br />Charles
