I got an Asus Chromebook for Christmas. I like it so far, it is fast, and a 10 second bootup time.
A little bit of a learning curve, at this point I don't know if it can't do certain things or I just haven't figured out how to do it yet.
I can not get my printer to work in cloud. I still have a windows 7 desktop for "work". The Chromebook is great for internet stuff,
email, streaming movies , Youtube , it does have HTML out . Anyone else use a chromebook, chromebox ?

I have a 10.1 ASUS Eeepc and I use it for basically anything I do with my larger computers, it has Win 7 home on it, I can print directly to our wireless printer, cruise the net, I have used it for my Weather station computer, I purchased a external DVD burner/player for it and can burn DVD's with it, it has Windows Media player. It is basically a miniature Windows 7 laptop, I did upgrade the Memory to a faster speed and I am going to replace the HD with a SD drive, but for the most part have been real pleased with it.

The chromebook is nice for simple internet tasks but has some limitations. To print you have to use the cloud print service.

LOL you make that sound so simple.
Cloud does not recognize my ePrint address from my printer .
From my searches on the internet, lots of people have trouble getting printers to work, even ones that are ePrint enabled like mine.
The address of my printer is just a little shorter than typing a copy of WAR&PEACE . :)

Try installing the cloud print service on a computer that can print to the printer you want and share it that way.

I got it to work. I had to delete "web services" from the printer, basically wipe the printers wifi,ePrint settings and start over.
HEwlett Packard was a big help. They sent me a long list of things to do and it worked. Once I had the printer squared away it was just a matter of registering on cloud.
The printer is 2 years old, nice to see customer support like that.
