Have the chance to upgrade my chrysler 1974 45 hp with a lower unit i just replaced all the seals in and works great but slow for the boat to a newer chrysler 1981 75 hp with a cylinder with weak compression. What is the actual possiblity of redoing the weak cylinder on a chrysler and would it be worth the time and money?

You need to figure out why it's weak.A bad gasket is an easy fix.Carboned rings not too hard.A treatment of Sea-Foam might do it.A scored cylinder anda bad piston a bunch more.
Pull the head and check it out. Then post your results.
These Chryslers will run forever if taken care of.The parts are still available.J
