1980 Chrysler 100 HP outboard Model #1002HOAN used to run like a dream two years ago, good compression, good power, but then started having electrical problems. Stalled at first, then wouldn't start back up, drained battery, battery not recharging, acts like it has a short somewhere, but not apparent. I have taken it to several "pro" mechanics to be charged while they learn what it is not. End of year replaced power pack and it ran for a short awhile, now acting up same way again. Also, overheated last day of use last year, probably needs new impellor, manual not specific to this model and hard to tell where water pump is. Appreciate any help!
