Chrysler 125 / Force 125

I was recently offered a powerhead off a Chrysler 125 if I want it. The question I have is will the Chrysler 125 bolt up to a Force 125? I was thinking, if this would work, of rebuilding it to have a spare powerhead.

Well, the block will bolt up but there are other considerations.

If the force is later than 94 and has a mercury lower unit, then the crankshaft splines are different and will not fit the drive shaft.

If the chrysler is earlier than (I think ) 1980 or has a distributor, then the ignition is different. They can be swapped but not without a bit of work since the stator carrier on the Chrysler is different and has a different bolt pattern. If the Chrysler has no distributor, then ignition systems are swappable.
