Chrysler 15Hp wont start - also impeler

Dear all,
i have a Chrysler 15Hp , model approx 1970. It was not used for approx. 10 years.
How can i check the impeler? i removed the 4 screws on the leg, but the lower part will come out only 1cm no more. What else should i do? HOw can i check the impeler?
Also I pressured gasoline in the carbeurater, it almost started but it did not finaly. What else can i do to start it?

sound like you did not disconnect the gear change linkage....under the side covers or behind a plate on the leg ....

Once you separate the lower unit from the leg, reach in the front of the gap with either a screwdriver or allen wrench--depending upon which type screw it is--and separate the upper and lower shift rods which are joined there. The lower unit will then drop off.

Thanks. I will try to find those . Any idea where i can see a service manual of this type of engine to see where these parts are?
This engine is given to me by a friend. He has it from his father and did not work for more than 10 -15 years. So we try to bring it back to life. But we dont know even how to make it stop if we manage to start it. Do you know how it stops?
Also the accelarator that is on the handle does not turn. It is stuck. I see it is connected to a disc under the head , that i think it should turn to push the lever on the carburator. But does not move.
Also the chock does not move. I think we should open the carburator. Should we take all plastic covers out to reach to carburator?
Too many questions, i know. Thanks for any help.
