457 HA-HH 45 hp 1970-77 <br />That will make it a 1970 model.

yeah, i have a 457HH and i was told that it is a '77 so it makes sense that a HA would be a '70. what do you think of your 45HP Chrysler? i am having some problems with mine right now.

I too am the proud recipient of a 45 hp Chrysler mod # 455 HF ser # 4111Currently I need to find an impeller but I don't know what year it is exactly. I could also use advise on where to find said parts for this motor here in Vancouver, Wa. USA.
She ran real good till the steam billowed out of the housing. I shut her down and used the troll motor tget back to dock.

Part number for the impeller isF433065-2 and is a quick silver part. Mercury sells them. There are other aftermarket ones but I would stick with the 6 vane one. I have tried the 10 vane ones and am not impressed with them.

Thanks Eurolarva, I cant wait to get back in the water and watch my kids face as they pilot the mighty brown bass boat.
I wish I could find out what year that motor is. Any thoughts on how to decipher the mod # of 455 hf/ ser # 4111 ?

Closest I can tell it is from1975
