How do I check the linkages Both fuel and stater plates, to see if they are correct.
While I had the engine running perfect in a barrel.
Starting the engine is no problems. An actual bump of the ignition will start the engine. No choke needed.
Points are set .019 - .020 Anything over that it will miss and be very unhappy.
Fuel pump been replaced last year, all fuel lines and vac hoses been replaced.
Sometimes the idle is high, other times it seem low but doesn't die out.. 3/4 for full throttle the engine will bog down and die out. I have to very slowly feather and over a long period of time get it up to WOT.
Only thing I have never adjusted was the linkage from the stator plate to the throttle tower.
