I have a 1980 Chrysler 6 hp with a bad coil. I went to remove it and see it appears to be mounted on 'pins.' I thought maybe it was screws from the underside so I loosened up the mag plate but can't see anything. It appears they sit on pins???? What's the safe way to remove the coil without breaking anything. Also, is it possible to do the OMC coil transplant on the existing Chrysler field (like with the older Scott's and their relatives?
