I recently purchased an old Glastron V156 with a Chrysler 60hp outboard engine. I would like to find a manual and make it run.<br />I don't what year it is but it is Model#609HA, Serial#5871. Can anyone help?<br />Thanks, Sai
Be careful Sai...of all the engines Chrysler made [an I like alot of them!] I my opinion, this 60hp 2 cyl is the bottom of the barrel....they are rough running, unreliable motors...the boat however, is a sweet little thing....
Sorry to pull this one back from the depths of the archives but I had a question about the Chrysler 60 HP.<br /><br />ODDD1, you stated that this motor is the bottom of the barrel. Could you elaborate some on this? I have been looking at one and would like your opinion. I have been a long time owner of a 55HP. I thought it would be a better arrangement to have 1 Carb per cylinder instead of the 55HP setup of 1 Carb.
