Hello Folks,
I have a Chrysler motor that has a very worn propeller.
I know that I can buy one at eBay and be happy but I'm planning to go out this weekend and the prop will not be here by then.

Do you have some tips that you can share so I can try to straigten it a little bit?

Minor nick can be filed smooth, minor bends to the edge of the blade might straighten out if two hammers are used. bigger chunks missing and actual blades being bent make a prop unusable, or even not economic to repair. But without seeing a pic of your prop... If you want to go boating this weekend, is there a place locally where you can buy one?

Here are the pictures... I'm sorry for the delay, I can't upload anything more than 2MB.
I already started to work with a hammer to straigten the prop a little bit.
Then I watched a YouTube video about using epoxy and then sanding to give some finishing.

It looks like one of the blades is bent pretty bad, and a Pitch Block is going to be needed to straighten it correctly.

Yes it is Sir,
I decided to cancel my fishing trip until I'm able to get the propeller from eBay.
There is no meaning for a rush on this matter.

After all, the lake will still be there, right?

Here in Alberta, a lot of lakes have disappeared, due to Oil and Gas Drilling, The rigs are very good at hitting the Aquaifer, which fed these lakes via springs. Instead the water is going elsewhere, and now the lakes are dry

Wow! that is too bad.
Well in my case is a water reservoir that is called "La Angostura" and it is located in Sonora, Mexico.
This place needs the water from the rain and is connected to Bavispe River.
There was a time where the water went very low due to a drought and since the ranchers need the water for agriculture we needed to find another spot to put the boat in the water. It was a pain in the neck because we like our spot where we have the grill and shades, etc.
But we were able to go in the reservoir and fish.

Since that year, we started to make calls prior to our trips so we can now in advanced where to go, but so far so good...
