Ok, been looking for a distributor cap and carbon center tip With no luck. My question is I have a perfectly good distributor cap but the sinner sprung carbon tip that goes to the road or when the Cabazon broke and no longer exist. Is it possible to use a carbon brush for an electric motor and shape it to the right size and put it in the same hole with the spring and the new carbon tip and make it work. Or does anyone else have a solution with no luck. My question is I have a perfectly good distributor cap but the sinner strong carbon chair that goes to the rotor when the cap is on broke and no longer exist. This is the cap with all points transferring current including the center spring where the current brush is missing. Disintegrated?
