Chrysler coil help????

I just purchased new coils,stator plate with laminations,points and condensors for a 1973 30hp electric start model#305HA serial#1614.My question is what do the 2 red leads from the coils attach to?Do they both go onto the points on one side?And also what do the leads from the points attach to?It appears that the coils attach to the laminations and go under the flywheel on this model.When I got the motor none of the parts were on the motor except for the damaged stator plate and my repair manual does not state where these items attach to so any help would be greatly appreciated.

hi.<br />One wire from one coil goes to one point, the other coil wire goes to the other point.<br />The other two wires connect to each point and then to the connecting block on the port side of the motor. From there they connect to the ing switch and when in the off position will ground the pts together and kill the motor.<br /><br />corm
