Chrysler/Force

Confused. Why does it seem everywhere I go Force is combined with Chrysler? I'm fairly certain Mercury bought Force. Either:<br /><br />A) I'm missing some history about this motor that could help me find parts, etc.<br /><br />B) They put it in with Chrysler to fill the section. I.E. Just for esthetics.<br /><br />Steve

Chrysler was renamed Force a while back, then Force was purchased by Mercury.

They gang it with chryslers because chryslers never break down. If they did not team it up with something, there would be no posts in this forum

taking about old chrysler somebody can tell me what happen.why i don't have any fire in my spark. what is rong with my 75 hp magnapower 1976.

Also, the block and basic systems were never changed until Merc bought them. Many parts from West Bend, Chrysler, and Force are interchangeable.
