Hello all,
I am rebuilding my 1987 force 125, and I must say for the hours I know on this motor it seems to be as strong as a d9-h cat, well any way, as I am checking all my operative parts I find it would not hurt to replace the reed plates and now am haveing trouble locateing them, I was able to get everything else from boatparts.com great supply for these motors, please advise on reed plates.
thanks chuck

Chuck,

If you have the metal reed plates and they are within spec, don't replace them. The original plates are much better than everything that has come along since.
